Blake’s singularity as a college coach, teacher, and educational manager lies within his personalized approach to his work with clients. He believes in his methods and has had the opportunity to witness their effectiveness among students over the course of many years. Blake has cultivated this holistic approach by becoming an expert in the specific aspects of academic achievement including: college application strategy, SAT/ACT testing, essay writing, course planning, classroom performance, executive functioning and time management techniques, creative approaches to various learning profiles, community outreach through service opportunities, and an understanding of the culture at schools across the country. In addition to working with students individually, Blake has overseen and mentored close to 30 academic coaches and tutors.

Drawing on his own philanthropic experience, Blake has built out a mentorship program at Brainworks Team that concentrates on community involvement and service. Blake and his team provide hands-on guidance for the creation of these unique “passion projects,” and the results have been very meaningful. Blake is proud of all that Brainworks students have accomplished through their work on these community events and the confidence it affords them for future endeavors.
